Groups
Impact.
Purpose. Change. Life.
House
groups are simply groups of 3-4 young men or 3-4 women who desire to walk in a
deeper level of fellowship with God and others trusting God to reveal direction
in life and calling. They are a 1 year commitment to those in your house group.
Much of the Christian faith is lived out and experienced along side other
Christians in community. One hour on a Sunday morning, or two or three bring
about as much victory in the Spiritual Journey as a NFL team listening to a
coach for 3 hours a week. Super Bowl's aren't won with three hours of team
interaction a week. Living with others to spur you on and encourage you is pivotal
to spiritual growth.
We
live in a culture that makes it very hard to connect with others like this, even
if you are able to find others like this. If you have ever for a season of your
life lived with peers who were on fire for God you know how much being part of a
community spurs on your faith.
We
are taking a very active role in creating house groups. Once we get your
application we will match it up against others and when we've got another 2 or 3
applicants who we believe share the same passions as you we'll put you in
contact with each other and suggest a house to rent for your house group.
We
are seeking to find strategic houses with locations and designs that will
encourage and foster the community we are praying God will start creating in
each house group to be a lighthouse. (If you've got a house you think
would be a fit for this contact us today!)
The
only requirements are we require that men board with other men and women board
with other women. We do not support co-ed living arrangements. If you are
pursuing a career, college or working to simply earn money and see what God has
for you are perfect for a house group. If your married and both you and your
spouse are considering moving to the KC Metro area our plan is to get
multi-family unit homes where you can experience living in a community on the
same street or duplex. This is not an intense discipleship program or a school,
but merely a program for young men or women who choose to live with purpose and
in community who by faith are trusting God for what He has for them.
With
men and women from all over the city and from many different churches finding
community and connecting to further the Kingdom of God. We plan to organize city
wide events such as barbeques at the lake, boating and camping trips, softball
teams, volley ball teams, etc. as part of this movement.
This
is a great way to form life long friends for ministry, church planting, businesses,
etc. together.

each application we will seek to get a feel for your spiritual directions in
life and insure you are in agreement with our statement of faith as found on our
about page.
